Short version: your learning progress stays on your device. We collect only anonymous usage data to make the app better. No name, no email, no selling your data, no tracking you across other apps.

What we collect

Your learning progress stays on your device. Your lessons, streak, AIQ, gems, and settings are stored only on your phone. This version of the app has no account or login, so we never see your name or email.

We do collect anonymous usage data. To understand how the app is used and make it better, we record basic in-app events (for example, starting or finishing a lesson) through our analytics provider, PostHog. This data is tied to a random, anonymous ID, not to you personally. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties

We use PostHog for the anonymous analytics described above. The app contains no third-party advertising. If you tap a link to an external tool (for example ChatGPT), that website's own privacy policy applies once you leave Purrfessor.

Children

Purrfessor does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes (for example, if we add accounts or optional features in a future version), we will update this page and note it in the app.

Deleting your data

There is no account, so there is nothing here holding your name, your email, or anything else that identifies you. Deletion works in two parts.

Everything on your device — your lessons, streak, AIQ, gems and settings — is erased by opening the app, going to Profile and tapping Reset app. That happens immediately and needs no request. Deleting the app does the same thing.

The anonymous usage data is not linked to you, so we cannot find it by name. We can delete it by its device identifier. Email rj.bernaldo@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and we will remove it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

Subscription and purchase records are held by Apple and Google, not by us. Those are managed in your App Store or Google Play account.
